  • Build a landing for a waiting list. Collect emails. If you get 100+ start thinking about the product.

Do everything backwards

Start with the market.

Are you clients searching for a solution?

If YES… there is a problem to be solved!

Do this instead

Big search volume + Easy to rank

Go to Ahrefs or Semrush and search for your keywords.

Look for:

  • 10k+ search volume is GREAT —> your potential clients (ICPs) are searching for a solution.

  • Below 10 keyword difficulty is GREAT —> easy-ish to rank in TOP 10 SERP / search results.

Great! There is a market!

Now sell the idea! You don’t need a product to fully validate an idea.

  • Build a waiting list.

    • Figma is great.

    • Softr App is free and fast.

  • Collect emails.

    • Reddit is a great place to start.

    • Facebook groups work good as well.

100+ waiting list sign ups in a week is a green flag.
